Advisory Council
Altar Servers
- For children in Yr 3 & above who have already made their First Holy Communion. Children are rostered on approximately once every four weeks.
Altar Society
- Cleaning & laundering sacramental items in the Church.
Catechists
- Dedicated catechists serve our Catholic families in our public schools - Lane Cove Primary, Lane Cove West Primary, & Greenwich Primary Schools.
Catholic Women’s League
- Meets regularly, often with guest speakers. Celebrating our community – morning teas for newly baptised, parish dinner. Being aware of things on a global scale.
Choir
- Rehearsals on Wednesday nights in the Church from 7:30pm .
Children’s Atrium
- Mondays 9:00am - 10:30am near the Parish Office. For 3 – 6 yr old children. A hands-on and practical way of spending time with God. Contact is Angela Hague on 9427 3351.
Children’s Liturgy
- During the 9:30am Sunday Mass in school terms. Children are escorted to the Parish Hall and split into two groups; 3 – 6 yrs & 7 and up. They celebrate the Liturgy of the Word, and return to the Church for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Counters
- Mondays – 8:30am for one hour. Assist with counting money from our collections. You will be rostered on about once per month.
Family Groups
- We currently have 3 Family Groups operating within the Parish. Contact person is Robyn on 9428 5005.
Finance Committee
- Meets every 2 months. Assists Parish Priest with all financial matters relating to the operation, maintenance and planning of the Parish.
Friendship Club
- Fun, social utings for our seniors and their friends such as theatre, opera, lunchtime cruises, bus trips. Buses pick up at St Michael's Church and at Clancy Terrace in Greenwich Rd.
Gardening Team
- Maintain the Church grounds, and landscaprimg of the gardens.

Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA)
- The process by which adult persons become members of the Catholic Church.
We offer a program run by a group of volunteers who are exploring their Catholic faith by sharing and learning with you.
We will be studying different aspects of Christianity and look at how the teachings of the Catholic Church relate to our daily lives. Our aim is to present a comfortable learning environment that we all look forward to each week. For more information, please contact Jo Sykes on 9427 8737.

Rosary Group
- Meets regularly in parishioner’s homes. Please check the parish bulletin for information and location.
Sacristans

- Prepare the altar for Masses & Funerals.
Senior Servers

Special Ministers of Holy Communion

St Vincent de Paul
- Tuesday nights in the Parish Hall from 7:30pm .
Visiting the Sick/Housebound
- Our Parish has pastoral responsibility for six Nursing Homes, Greenwich & Longueville Hospitals, and around 40 private residences to visit and administer Holy Communion each week. We rely on volunteers to assist with this Ministry and are always looking for caring and reliable parishioners - even if you can only spare 1 or 2 hours a week. Wardens
